Leopard Geckos
Diet
In the wild the leopard gecko will feed on large spiders, centipedes, and scorpions. In captivity I feed my three leopard geckos super worms and crickets. I throw and large amount of crickets in their tank and refill it once the previous crickets are gone There really isn't much to their diet. My geckos are fat and healthy. They only requires their crickets and water.
Habitat
The Leopard Gecko is found in Southeastern Afghanistan, Western India, Pakistan, Iraq, and Iran, where it frequents semi-deserts and arid grasslands. The leopard gecko is a very common house pet. They require little amount of care. They are easy pets to have. They only get about 5 or 6 six inches long and do not require a big enclosure. My leopard geckos are kept in a ten gallon tank with a screen top. A hiding rock, another rock to hide under, and a turtle shell to hide under are inside. They prefer the hiding rock which magnets to the tanks glass. i use sand for their bedding and provide them with a rock water bowl. They only require one light and a heating pad and have no specific heat to be kept at. The temperatures they endure in the wild fluctuate extremely from 41 to 59 degrees fahrenheit but up to 104 in the summer.
